Hey kids – I know it’s been a while. I just wanted to share the dorkiest of dorky inventions I just posted on Quirky.com. I decided in the interest of really leaping in to my efforts at creative career change, I need to heed my creative urges instead of being scared gormless that others will mock and shun me.
Quirky is an amazing inventors website that’s set up as a social media site where you can contribute to other peoples inventions and ideas and hopefully help them create and sell them.

I like their site, haven’t been a consistent participator but whenever I’m there am totally fascinated by the ideas people have submitted. Someone commented on mine to check out “Sandables” as being similar to mine. Microwaveable configurable sand paper for hand made projects. And now I want to buy them. Hahaha.
